5th week of December

The last week of December 2009 was indeed surprising. My father came home last Dec.29. However, as ususal, he just handed me my allowanceand my basic commodities such as food. And I think I'm used to that set-up. On the other hand, in the next day, Dec.30, I helped my sister in cooking and preparing foods for it was her 35th birthday. I'm really glad in helping my sister. It was my honor to be her assistant cook for that day...HEHEHE.........

4th week of December

My Christmas in year 2009, like on 2008, was very unkind. My father didn't come home, my sister as well didn't celebrate for the Christmas, and to make it worst, I didn't receive my allowance. It's really hard when the hand of fate is unkind toyou. owever, I still looked on the positive side of it, at least I'm still alive and I still have my sister who is always on my side to help me.
Furthermore, I and my dear friends went to Lawis to had a relaxing moment before Christmas. It was definitely enjoyable! With a very cold running waters from the natural waters of the spring with some of your closest friends. It was indeed worth it!

3rd week of December

Supposedly, on December 16, we will had our last meeting in English 2 for the month of December since the Christmas break is nearly approaching. It almost broke my heart when Prof. Deocampo told us this news in the previous meeting. It was also our department Christmas party and I'm obliged to help since I'm an officer in our student organization. Inspite of that, with God's help, our dear professor changed her mind and cancelled our class. With that I had able to help my co-officers with the said event. THANKS BRO!!!

RULES are RULES

It was the 2nd Friday of the month, December 11 I think, when one of my English 2 classmates was punished when he spoke in venacular. Mrs. Deocampo, our English 2 professor, strictly prohibited such action since we are in an English class. And she really meant her words. I should be more careful from now on since rules are RULES!

What a WORK!

The second semester of my college life is really pushing to great extremeties. There are a lot of works to do, yet there's no enough time to do it all- book assigments, scrapbooks, class activites, etc. Don't get me wrong about my sentiments. I still enjoy it though.

For last week, to keep us busy for our English 2 our professor Ms. DeOcampo told us to gather different samples of common methods of paragraph development. At first, I thougth it's just an easy task. However, when I started to make this easy assignment I was shocked for having difficultes of searching those samples. What a great mistake! hehehehehehe.................. I found myself flooded with various books and magazines just to collect those paragraph samples.

Though a bit funny I now learned my lessons. I should not take it easy. I should bare in my mind that Im attending this REKNOWNED and WORLD-CLASS institution in the name of MSU-ILIGAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY. God bless us all IITIANS!

To do or not to do?

It was our class in English 3, December 2, 2009, when our professor told us that our prelim this semester would be done next year. Further, she told us that it's kinda like an essay- an objective type of exam. Suddenly a thougth came into my mind.............if English 3 is on oral communication, why not we make an exam ( the prelim, midterm, and finals) where the principles of oral com be applied like extemporaneous speeches, debates, etc. rather than giving a written exam. For me, taking a written exam in English 3 is really ironic since it deals with oral communication. It would be more exciting and challenging for us students! I hope no one would get me wrong. It's just my idea then.
In relation, we can do it also in English 2. But not the oral exams you know............hehehehehe. Instead, we can have an exam like making an article about something which our professor will decide about what would it be. Of course, we should do it on the spot. It is thrilling and nerve tinkling job that will force our minds to think and think...
However, it will really scares the other students.
Just for now!

learning experience in class or in university

I really had,or may i say, always a humorous experiences in the class and as well in the university itself. A couple of days before weekend, while having our class in Chem 19 our professor ask us about a kind of food sprinkled with sesame seeds( which is the "Binangkal" she's referring to) as an imaginary example of J.J Thompson's model for atom. Suddenly, my classmate energetically answered " Mam, Atis!" All of us sarcastically laughed at her about such idea. Where can we find in this world an atis sprinkled with sesame seeds? what a silly answer.....hehehehehe...........^^,
